Prof. Dioha’s research is in the field of Renewable Energy/Chemical Technology and interest is on Biogas and Solar Energy.
- Biogas is a biofuel derived from anaerobic digestion of organic wastes which converts the wastes to energy and biofertilizer and kill harmful pathogens. The biogas is used to generate both thermal and electrical energy for both domestic and industrial purposes.
- Solar Energy is the energy that comes from the sun in the form of heat and light. The heat energy is used in solar thermal applications such as: solar (dryers, oven, distillers, pasteurizers, water heaters, etc. The light energy is used for the photovoltaic applications such as: Solar (street-lighting, water borehole, mini-grids, telecommunication, etc.
